Second on my list of Favorite Dog Breeds is Rottweilers. Another German breed (yes, I'm part German, and yes I love German dogs) and also an amazing breed. One, I think the top scariest breed of dog, the Rottweiler has the strongest bite in the canine world. In German, Rottweiler means "Red Brick Dog". Rottweilers were bred to pull carts and defend their masters when harm came. The Romans loved this breed and brought some to Rome, but the Rottweiler roots still stand firm in Germany. If not trained properly, Rottweilers can be savage beasts that attack at anything for no reason ending in having to be put down. But, if trained properly and well socialized, Rottweilers can be GREAT family pets, GREAT guard dogs, and an Amazing dog. Rottweilers are tough, caring, and loving dogs when they learn to trust their masters. The only dog with a bite that comes even CLOSE to the power of a Rottweiler's bite would be the GSD. Wow!
